The ITQ framework has 15 skill areas at 3 different levels which are aligned to the National Occupational Standards for IT Users. The level of skill for individuals or groups of individuals will vary depending on their work requirement. For example, if the job role includes high level spreadsheet skills but limited word processing, the qualification can be planned so that the candidate can achieve a level 3 in spreadsheets and a level 2 in word processing. See the qualification matrix table below.
